BIG 2013 National Training Institute



During a time of challenges facing the public sector workforce – and continued anti-government employee rhetoric – there is one bright spot on the horizon: Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW). This is a congressionally designated week each year meant to honor public servants at all levels of government for the service that they provide to the country and their fellow citizens.
   This year, PSRW will be observed the week of May 5th to 11th.

First Bay Area BIG Blog Post

Welcome to the Bay Area's first blog post commissioned by LaVerne Feaster, President of the Bay Area Chapter of Blacks in Government . Monthly meetings are held at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in the Post Office Auditorium. The Bay Area Chapter was chartered in 2005 and began with a group of employees who were employed at the Veteran's Benefits Administration and the Veterans Healthcare Administration. 2013-2015 OFFICERS A.
