BIG 2013 National Training Institute

During a time of challenges facing the public sector workforce – and continued anti-government employee rhetoric – there is one bright spot on the horizon: Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW). This is a congressionally designated week each year meant to honor public servants at all levels of government for the service that they provide to the country and their fellow citizens.
This year, PSRW will be observed the week of May 5th to 11th.

Following a brief introduction, the boat Calypso Queen lived up to its name. The Caribbean music began swinging soon after everyone enjoyed their sumptuous Caribbean style dinner.  The buffet comprised about 15 dishes from salad to soup, fish, chicken and beef.
